ABOUT

I'm a full-time soldier in the U.S. Army, and I make my living playing trumpet in the U.S. Army Field Band. Music has been a life-long passion, and I consider myself extremely fortunate to be able to do what I do. Prior to joining the Field Band, I spent a few years freelancing in New York City.
Art has been my other life-long passion. Some of my earliest memories are of drawing, coloring, and painting with watercolors. Later, I discovered oils, and completely fell in love with the medium.
Today, I'm not only fortunate enough to have an amazing job doing something I love, but I'm also thankful to have the ability to pursue my passion for art on my own time. I work mainly with oils, and I love creating vibrant, expressive images of people and places. I lean heavily toward realism, and occasionally will also incorporate impasto style into my work. I'm also happy to admit I'm still learning, and my style is still evolving with every piece I do.
Feel free to poke around and check out my work. If, for any reason, you feel inclined to get in touch with me, please don't hesitate to send me a message through the Contact page. I'd love to hear from you!
